In the event that you wish to move your booking and the new date or destination is more expensive than the original booking, we are forced to pass on this difference to you. The cancellation conditions are valid for bookings made via happytraveler.com, booking sites or our Guesthouse The Happy Traveler.com website.
Happy Travelar Guesthouse places a high priority on the health and safety of our guests and employees and does everything it can to prevent risks of contamination and spread. In order to receive you as safely as possible, all hotels have been fully adapted to the new situation. Everything has been thought of and we comply with all guidelines for a carefree and safe stay.
With cancellation insurance you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the day of arrival. The Happy Traveler Guesthouse offers its guests the possibility to reserve a room online by paying the full reservation amount online or to pay at check-in at the hotel.
If you choose to pay at check-in at The Happy Traveler, your room is guaranteed until 6 pm on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive later, please contact the Guesthouse
The Catering Establishment is liable to the Guest for damage resulting from a shortcoming by the Catering Establishment in the fulfillment of the agreement, unless that shortcoming cannot be attributed to the Catering Establishment or to persons whose assistance the Catering Establishment in the performance of the agreement uses. Without prejudice, the Catering Establishment is not liable for damage to or loss of goods that have been brought into the Catering Establishment by a guest who has taken up residence there. The guest indemnifies the Catering Establishment against claims from guests in this regard. The provisions herein do not apply insofar as the damage or loss is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of the Catering Establishment. The Catering Establishment is not liable for damage caused to or with vehicles of the Guest, except if and insofar as the damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Catering Establishment. The Catering Establishment is not liable for damage, directly or indirectly, to whomsoever or whatever arises as a direct or indirect consequence of any defect or any quality or circumstance in, in or on any movable or immovable property of which the Catering Establishment is the holder, (leaseholder) tenant, tenant or is the owner or otherwise available to the Catering Establishment, except if and insofar as the damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Catering Establishment. The Catering Establishment’s liability is limited to the amount that can reasonably be insured. If damage occurs to the goods given into custody for which a fee is charged, the Catering Establishment is obliged to compensate the damage to these goods as a result of damage or loss. Compensation is not due in respect of other goods present in the delivered goods. If the Catering Establishment takes receipt of goods or if goods are deposited, stored and/or left behind by anyone in any way whatsoever without the Catering Establishment stipulating any compensation for this, the Catering Establishment is not liable for damage to or in connected with those goods in any way whatsoever, unless the Catering Establishment has intentionally inflicted this damage, or the damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Catering Establishment. In all cases, the Catering Establishment cannot be held liable for compensation for damage to goods contained in goods that are deposited, stored or left behind, regardless of whether the Catering Establishment stipulates any compensation for this.
The guest and those accompanying him are jointly and severally liable for all damage that is and/or will arise for the Catering Establishment and/or any third party as a direct or indirect result of an attributable shortcoming and/or tort, including violation of the house rules. , committed by the customer and/or the guest and/or those accompanying him, as well as for all damage caused by any animal and/or any property they are in possession of or under their supervision.
All prices quoted on www.thehappytraveler.com All printed publications and advertisements of The Happy Traveler are exclusive of tax and handling fee. Happy Traveler Guesthouse reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without giving any reason.
